It is also true that there is no law for a slave, a slave is only the body and not the soul. The soul always wants to live as per its wish, wants to be free, but without law even freedom is incomplete. That freedom is not freedom which has no law, no discipline. Hence, independent India also adopted the Constitution on 26 January 1950 and was established as a republic.

Republic Day Speech- 01

Respected Chief Guest, teachers, parents, my classmates, brothers and sisters, best wishes to all of you on the 75th Republic Day. First of all, I salute and pay tribute to all the great leaders and freedom fighters of the country who sacrificed their lives so that we can live in a democratic nation. Those people happily sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country.

Friends, our country became independent from the British on 15th August 1947 but we did not have any constitution to run the governance system of the country. We all know that freedom is not complete without law. The country cannot run without a constitution. Without the Constitution, our complete freedom was incomplete freedom. Therefore, to complete this task, the Constituent Assembly was formed.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar played the most important role in the making of the Constitution, it took 2 years, 11 months and 18 days to complete this sacred task, after deep thinking, brainstorming, deliberations and many meetings, the Constitution of India was completely finalized. It was implemented in January 1950 and India was declared a democratic, sovereign and republic country.

It is the Constitution of India which provides unity to the diversity of India. It binds together the people of all castes, religions and classes of India, we are proud that the Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world. 26 January was chosen to implement the Constitution of India because on this day the complete independence of India was declared in the Congress session in 1930.

In conclusion, I once again pay my tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country. .... Bharat Mata Ki... Jai, Vande Mataram... Vande Mataram... Vande Mataram. Thank you.

Republic Day Speech - 02

Respected Chief Guest, principal, teachers, parents, my classmates, brothers and sisters, best wishes to all of you on the 75th Republic Day.

Today on 26th January we all are celebrating the 75th Republic Day of India. We got this day only after independence. The word 'freedom' may seem small to us to say or hear, but this word makes us feel pain, suffering, sacrifice, abandonment, oppression, torture and being drenched in blood.

Independence is a wonderful confluence of happiness and sorrow which is celebrated every year on 26 January with pomp and joy throughout the country. After being under the British for 200 years, our country became independent on 15 August 1947.

After getting independence from British rule, the Constitution of our country was made on 26 January 1950 at 10:18 am in which fundamental rights were made for the citizens.

On this day our India became a democratic republic. Republic means rule of the people by the people.  I once again pay my tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country..Jai Hind.

Republic Day Speech - 06

In this speech I am going to tell you about the history of the tricolor and when the first parade started, before that Namashkar to all of you. My name is...X...I read in class.....Y....

Today on the occasion of Republic Day, I am going to tell you some interesting facts related to our tricolor. The tricolor was adopted as the national flag of India by the Republic of India between 15 August 1947 and 26 January 1950 and thereafter.

The ratio of Indian National Flag width and length of the flag is 2:3. There is a dark blue circle in the middle of the white stripe. This Chakra is built on the Lion Pillar of Sarnath, the capital of Ashoka, hence it is also called Ashoka Chakra. The first parade was held on Republic Day in 1955.

The national flag has undergone many changes and its initial design is attributed to Pingali Venkayya. But before that, there were other versions of our flag. The first national flag in India is said to have been hoisted at Parsi Bagan Square (Green Park) in Kolkata on August 7, 1906. This flag was made with three horizontal stripes of red, yellow and green.

The present tricolor flag finally arrived in 1947. The colors in this flag remained the same, the order of the colors also remained the same. As a symbol on the white strip of the flag, instead of Ashoka's religious charkha, only the charkha or charkha symbol was kept. On 22 July 1947, the Constituent Assembly adopted it as the national flag of independent India. Jai Hind.
