NOKIA USA Office |
As we know Nokia is the multinational company & this the
equipment provider for the telecom sector. It has already replaced so many
equipment providers from the telecom sectors. It also working as a vendor in so
many countries in Gulf & Asia. In Asian countries known as equipment
provider & also deal in operation & maintenance. In Asian countries
known as equipment provider & also deal in operation & maintenance. In Saudi
Arabia working on FTTH project for STC. Nokia has the very well reputation in
the telecom sector. We can say Nokia has covered the all telecom equipment sector.
But in some countries it has been removing the employees for
the cost cutting. In USA Telecom network equipment maker Nokia has cut 250 jobs
at its site in Naperville, United States, and expects to lose a further 250
positions, a report by Crain's Chicago Business said late on Monday. I am compel
to write here that when the job is not secure in such a company then how can employee
trust his job? Or does not the job secure in any company in the telecom sector?
A Nokia spokesman confirmed that jobs had been cut as part
of the Finnish company's global cost-savings plan, but declined to disclose
numbers. Equipment provider NOKIA is making a lot of low cost of its equipment
in the competition of other equipment providers. Nokia wants to sell its
equipment only at any price and wants to stay in the market. So when the cost
of equipment is going low day by day, then the Employees will be expelled in
the name of cost cutting and cost saving. Nokia is also doing like the same.
Nokia is looking to save 1.2 billion euros ($1.4 billion)
annually by the end of this year following the 2016 acquisition of its former
Franco-American rival Alcatel-Lucent. Now the exit of 250 Employees has come to
the notice but how many employees will be removed nothing can be said. Often,
it also happens that the hard working person in the telecom sector is removed
and some white elephants remain on their positions.
"As part of that program we have indeed reduced
headcount in Illinois. The scope of the reductions and the current headcount in
Illinois are not being shared," the spokesman said by email.
Nokia has also not given a target number for total global job
losses but unions have estimated that 10,000-15,000 positions could be at risk.
